The Jake & Simon Show, Rad! – Episode 11

Listen in as we try to return to the regular format after weeks of drunken ranting. Episode 11 sees the return of the Ork Awards and we take to reviewing movies, podcasts and shitty restaurants. We also launch our new series, ‘Plastic Explosives’.

  1. Back on track – much more entertaining! Some film clips you might find interesting:

The Pit (1981) This movie’s got a talking teddy bear that commands the boy to do terrible things. He’s a creepy kid. This film is a must-see.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
One of the catchiest songs to ever be derived from the London Bridge song.

    Ex-Drummer (2007)
If you’re strong of stomach/character and want to see the most bizarre punk rock movie ever made, hands down, ever. Ex-Drummer is something else. It’s one of my favorites to this day. Three misfits with issues are gathered together by a wealthy magazine article writer (who becomes their drummer), and they perform together, as an article subject. Just watch it.

  2. Awesome thanks for the tips. The Pit sounds awesome! I’m willing to bet Jake has seen it, he is a connoisseur of bad movies.
