The Jake & Simon Show with guest Dezrick: Decimated! – Episode 10

Welcome to Episode 10! We made it! As a special thank you to our listeners we are giving you over 100 minutes of unadulterated nonsense.  Sadly though, as with the last episode we need to again caveat the fact that we got ludicrously drunk and completely veered away from our regular format. We though it best to record outside with our softly spoken friend Dezrick; Outside on a windy winter night, in an area known for low flying planes, inconsiderate neighbours and the way too familiar sound of police sirens ensuring that the sound quality is average at best. Quite befitting that this should happen in our tenth episode though – perhaps you can think of its rudimentary quality as a sort of throwback to the less than stellar pilot episode recorded way back when, July 22nd 2015. Stay tuned for our next biweekly serving of poorly planned and poorly presented aural antics.

The Jake & Simon Show with guest, ‘The Beast’, Vodka Joss! – Episode 9, Part 2

We continue getting shit-faced in part 2 of this extended episode. Simon introduces the ‘Jake and Simon Profanity Filter’, necessary to bleep out some of the profanities. We talk prostate checks, smoking cones, confabulation, the possible imminent death of Jake due to the Joss, office leaving cards, how to cook an egg and much, much more gobshite. The Beast makes a comeback too, and helps us as we drive our ninth episode straight into the ground.

The Jake & Simon Show, Vodka Joss! – Episode 9, Part 1

This week we run through the history of comedy, and find it has a very disappointing ending. The boys talk Indonesia, Prince and other dead celebrities, and throw in a couple of favourites (How Low Would You Go & Devil’s Advocate), all the while slamming ‘Vodka Joss’ shots… Things go down hill fast – Stayed tuned for part two, where the slurring, beeping and ranting continues.

The Jake & Simon Show, Bushwhacked! – Episode 8

Ever wanted to know how the classic 80’s sci-fi horror film “The Thing” would sound as a radio play, via the Philippines? No?! Well Jake and Simon have answered that question for you! Watch the video here.

As we lurch into episode 8, Jake gives you a taste of what its like to visit the Sydney Royal Easter Show as an adult (hint: it tastes like crap).

Simon mercilessly shitcans another submission from listener Tim in what is fast becoming a new segment, and gives some pointers on finding credible news sources.

All your beloved favourites are there too: The Ork Awards, How Low Will You Go, The Devil’s Advocate – and Jake plays some more fucking Heartbreak High clips.

The boys also gived revered Aussie bush poet, Banjo Patterson a bollocking, ’cause lets face it – his poems are heaps shit.
